Long Khanh Pagoda

Long Khanh Pagoda is located at 141 Tran Cao Van Street, Le Loi Ward, Quy Nhon City. Located in the center of the city, Long Khanh Pagoda is one of the largest Buddhist centers of Binh Dinh, is where the worship place of Buddhist and tourist attractions for visitors coming to Quy Nhon City. You can come here by car, motorcycle, bicycle….

The architecture construction of the original temple is no longer available. The temple is now basically rebuilt in 1956 and completed in 1972. The architectural style of the pagoda style carries the Southern Chinese. About the value of architecture, Long Khanh Pagoda has nothing unique, but with history of formation and development of Quy Nhon, Long Khanh Pagoda has a very special position.

Long Khanh Pagoda was built on village land of Vinh Khanh, Quy Ninh in about 1715. The mid-eighteenth century, Quy Ninh was changed to Quy Nhon, by the end of the 19th century village of Vinh Khanh was renamed to Cam Thuong village, Tuy Phuoc district, Quy Nhon. Although pagoda has been through many times of restoration, reconstruction, but Long Khanh Pagoda still remains a historical and cultural value. It is one of two temples dating the oldest in Binh Dinh. Nowadays, visitor going to the temple will feel restful and peaceful as they go into the world of the Buddha land.
