Tour Plan

DAY 1 (Wednesday): Hanoi Capital – Welcome on Board

Welcome to Hanoi – A Prelude to Your Journey

At around 4:30 p.m., your driver picks you up from your hotel and transfers you to Gia Lam Station. You are welcomed in the VIP lounge and assisted with check-in before boarding your luxury train. Take a few minutes to settle in and prepare for the welcome celebration.

Evening of Elegance

At about 6:00 p.m., dress for the occasion and join fellow travelers in the opulent restaurant for refreshments and a multi-course dinner with fine wines or cocktails.

DAY 2 (Thursday): Ninh Binh – Explore The First Kingdom of Vietnam

Wake up to Ninh Binh with breakfast served on board your luxury train.

After breakfast, transfer from the train to Trang An and board a sampan to glide through emerald waters, limestone cliffs and lush greenery.

Continue to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, to visit temples and historical sites of the Dinh and Le dynasties.

Return to the train for lunch, then enjoy afternoon tea in the onboard restaurant while admiring mountain scenery as the train travels toward Vinh.

End the day with dinner on board, where the flavours of the journey continue.

DAY 3 (Friday): Quang Binh – A Soft Adventure in Jungle and Caves

Morning

Wake to the gentle motion of the train and enjoy breakfast on board.

Disembark in Quang Binh and transfer to Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park. Cruise the Son River by boat and explore Phong Nha Cave’s subterranean river with its striking stalactites and stalagmites.

Afternoon

Return to the train for some relaxation and onboard activities.

Late Afternoon & Evening

DAY 4 (Saturday): Hue – Discover the Magnificent of The Last Empire in Vietnam

Begin the day with a rickshaw ride through Hue’s peaceful streets. Visit the Imperial Citadel, once the heart of the Nguyen Dynasty, to see ramparts, palaces, shrines and royal artifacts.

Midday

Continue by private van to Tu Duc Mausoleum, then visit Hue’s Incense Village to watch artisans shape traditional incense and, if you wish, try making incense or weaving a conical hat yourself.

Enjoy a refined lunch at a local restaurant showcasing Hue’s royal-inspired cuisine.

Afternoon

Return to the train and bid farewell to Hue. From your seat, watch the Perfume River, pagodas, mountains and the shimmering Lang Co Lagoon slide past as the train continues southward.

DAY 5 (Sunday): Quang Nam – Ancient Merchant Hub of South East Asia

Morning

Depart Hue by train in the cool morning hours, enjoying a gourmet breakfast as the train climbs the scenic Hai Van Pass with views of valleys and the East Sea.

On arrival near Hoi An, relax amid rice fields with a cup of aromatic Vietnamese coffee before setting out by jeep to Au Lac Wood Art. Here, under the guidance of artisans, learn the basics of woodblock painting and create your own design.

Continue to Thanh Ha Pottery Village to watch local potters at work and try shaping your own ceramic piece.

Enjoy a home-hosted lunch prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

Afternoon

Explore Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start at Hoi An Market to experience the bustle of local life, then visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall and one of the town’s preserved merchant houses such as Phung Hung or Tan Ky.

Evening

DAY 6 (Monday): Phu Yen – A Voyage into Coastal Serenity

Enjoy breakfast on board before beginning your visit to Phu Yen.

Return to the train to unwind and prepare for the evening.

Evening

Night

Bid farewell to Mui Ne and reboard your luxury train. Settle into your cabin as the train begins its journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 8 (Wednesday): Ho Chi Minh City – Comeback to Modern Life – Farewell

The train arrives at Saigon Station at 5:00 a.m. Breakfast is served on board until 8:30 a.m.

At 9:00 a.m., check-out procedures begin.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City or directly to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your return flight home.
