As the country prepares to fully reopen inbound tourism next month, the frequency of worldwide searches on Vietnam’s tourism has increased at the fastest rate in the world, increasing by 75 percent between December and February.

The top ten countries for Vietnam travel searches are Russia, the United States, Australia, India, Singapore, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Malaysia, and South Korea.

Vietnam’s busiest metropolis, Ho Chi Minh City, is the most searched destination by international tourists, followed by Hanoi, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, and Nha Trang.

Vietnam has resumed commercial flights to 20 of the 28 countries and territories that had direct flights before the pandemic.

On February 11, the country has lifted all restrictions on overseas flights.
