In the north, the capital city Hanoi bears the traces of centuries of change in its wide Parisian boulevards and colorful Vietnamese temples. The city is covered in fresh green color of millions of trees which ensure the fresh air and peaceful sights. The landscape of Ha Long Bay is a magical sight with a complex of rock pinnacles rising from the sea and a series of magnificent caves. Further to the northwest, Sa Pa lies among mountains and jungles to maintain a special cultural diversity in a combination of ethnic minority groups’ culture.

Tour Plan
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in and rest. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR & SHOPPING
Pick up and transfer for visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an important place of pilgrimage for Vietnamese, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts, built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic minorities, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. After that, you will take a visit to the Old Quarters where you can experience the real daily life activities of local people in the oldest area of Hanoi for around one hour on the interesting electrical car with stopovers at Opera House is very famous site en route to take photos and enjoy the Old Quarters.
Transfer to shopping malls with international brands and high quality Vietnamese brands, some big shops with Made in Vietnam clothes where local people are regular; lacquer workshop (great traditional Vietnamese handicraft products). Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI – SAPA BY TRAIN
Pick up and transfer to Hoa Lu – the ancient citadel of 3km2 – to visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh dynasty (968-980), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le dynasty (980-1009).
Continue to have a boat ride in Trang An – an ecological tourist site where the rowing boat brings you through many amazingly nature blessed caves and rice fields. Back to Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi train station for the night train to Sa Pa. Overnight on train.
DAY 4: SAPA – FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN – SAPA
In the early morning, the guide and car will pick you up at Lao Cai train station then bring you to the hotel, where you have breakfast and a short break. After that, you will be transferred to the cable car station and start your trip in Sa Pa by heading up to the Fansipan mountain – top of Indochina. Get on the newly launched cable car – the longest non-stop three-rope cable car in the world. After a ride of twenty minutes, arrive at the stop to enjoy whole view of SaPa and immediately love the feeling of soaring through the clouds; leisurely enjoying the magnificent scenery and picturesque scenes of Muong Hoa Valley, Hoang Lien National Park alongside the striking peaks of the Hoang Lien Son Ranger. Climb up farther to the peak to get an even more breathtaking view. Enjoy your own time to breath in the fresh air and take the photos before heading back to town.
DAY 5: SAPA – LOCAL MARKET – HANOI BY TRAIN
In early morning, transfer to an ethnic market which only takes place once every week to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature and local ethnic minorities' people cultures. Witness how ethnic people enjoy their lives and dress up in their traditional costumes. Besides normal goods traded in any other market, each mountainous market has its own typical products for sale. You can easily find agricultural products, livestocks, traditional clothes and also typical food and special local alcohols.
These markets operate on different days of the week as following: Coc Ly market on Tuesdays, Cao Son/Sincheng market on Wednesdays, Lung Khau Nhin market on Thurdays, Can Cau market and Pha Long market on Saturdays, Bac Ha market on Sundays.
In the afternoon, transfer to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
DAY 6: HANOI – HA LONG
Pick up from train station for optional breakfast on own before transferring to Ha Long Bay to cruise amongst the bay’s spectacular scenery. After check-in and security briefings, set sail to enjoy lunch while cruising through fishing village and visit a beach area. The vessel will stop at an island; feel free to go swimming to cool down the summer heat. Enjoy a cooking demonstration with the chef as he prepares traditional Vietnamese food. Dinner is served on board. At night, you can ask the cruise to do squid fishing. Overnight on cruise.
DAY 7: HA LONG – HANOI
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise and an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Ha Long Bay while cruising back to the dock. Back to the wharf. Say goodbye Ha Long Bay and transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 8: HANOI DEPARTURE
Free on your own until check-out time. Transfer to airport to come back your home. Good bye Vietnam and hope to see you soon in the near future.
