Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve is the only remaining coastal primary forest in Vietnam which has been listed as national forest since 1984. This area is relatively flat with low mountains (about 100-150 meters height) on the west side, and the hills gently lean toward the seaside. There are also freshwater lakes such as Cốc Lake, Tràm Lake, Linh Lake, Bàng Lake and Nhám Lake with beautiful scenery. The unique spot in this forest is the 1 km2 area where the hot and boiling underground.
