Ma Pi Leng pass has a length of about 20km, located on the road of Happiness connecting Dong Van – Meo Vac. Ma Pi Leng means “horse nose” in the Mong language. On the pass, visitors will be fascinated when they see the Tu San alley beneath the ravine forming Nho Que River. The pass was done by tens of thousands of youth volunteers from 16 ethnic groups in 8 northern provinces (from 1959 to1965) with over 2 million working days. Going on the pass, visitors will experience the entire majestic space of the northwestern mountainous region of Vietnam.
