Nga Phe Chaung Monastery or Jumping Cat Monastery is considered as a must-see place with a unique show on earth, cat show. It was built earlier than Mandalay City in the mid-nineteenth century and on teakwood on stilts over the lake, placed on the eastern side of it. Monks have their cats trained to jump through loops. Yet there are more things to see in the monastery other than the cats, the fine carving of a reclining Buddha Status is a decent illustration of the art work hidden in the monastery. A dark structure that contains an exceptionally intriguing collection of Buddha statues placed in their shrines, some of them are truly amazing with artful wooden carvings covered with gold leafs.
