Tour Plan

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (Dinner & guide)

Arrive in Ha Noi. The guide and car will pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in. Enjoy a special cyclo tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and old quarter within one hour before dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (Breakfast & guide)

In the morning, you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an important place of pilgrimage for Vietnamese, Ho Chi Minh's House-on-Stilts, built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic minorities, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One-Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Continue to visit Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam founded in 1070 boasting 82 stone stelae with the names, places of birth and achievements of men who received doctorates in each triennial examination from 1442. Transfer back to hotel for free activities in afternoon.

In the afternoon, free on your own until your guide pick you up at the hotel to enjoy an interesting water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 -4: Hanoi – Ha Long (Breakfast, lunch, dinner & guide on board)

After breakfast, enjoy a 4 hour journey to Ha Long bay – one of new seven nature wonders of the world. Arrive in Ha Long wharf at noon.

Have a lunch on the cruise. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, then relax on deck, kayak or swim in afternoon. Great photo opportunities of shaped islands like Dog island, Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock island and so on. After dinner, relax, drinking or fishing at your pleasure before spending a night on board. Overnight on the cruise in Ha Long.
Day 4: Ha Long – Hanoi (Breakfast, brunch/lunch & guide on board)

Start your day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck then enjoy breakfast on cruise. Visiting Sung Sot cave. Check out. Have buffet brunch on board. Return to the wharf at noon. Pick up then transfer back to Ha Noi. On the way back to Hanoi, take a rest-stop to visit the embroidery factory of the disabled with wonderful works. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Duong Lam ancient village (Breakfast & guide)

In the morning, depart from your hotel to Duong Lam Village which is one of the few remaining ancient villages in Vietnam with ancient house of more than 400 years old. It is also the only place where is hometown of the two Vietnam Kings - Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen - the two heroes who led resistance wars against China's Sung and Southern Han troops to recover national independence. Walk around the village, you will explore the special architecture, traditional culture and traditions of countryside of Vietnam. Lunch will be served in a local house. Back to Hanoi and free to relax. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Bat Trang pottery village (Breakfast & guide)

On the left bank of Hong River and about 10 km from Hanoi centre, Bat Trang village is one of the most famous craft villages in Vietnam. Enjoy the rural Red River landscape on the drive to the pottery village. You can watch the artisans forming, painting, and glazing their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns. Visit the pottery market beside the river where you will see numourous kind of pottery products in many beautiful colours. You’ll have a chance to shop for some interesting pieces.

Day 7: Hanoi – Saigon (Breakfast & guide)

Morning transfer to Airport for the flight to Saigon. The guide and car will pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in Free to relax. Overnight in Saigon

Day 8: Saigon city tour (Breakfast & guide)

You will have a short tour around the city this morning. You will be picked up and start to visit Reunification Palace (Ex-Presidential Palace) that was built in 1962 and is well-known as an outstanding example of 1960’s architecture, Notre Dame Cathedral, Center Post Office, Ben Thanh Market – the symbol of Saigon. Return to hotel and free to relax. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 9: Cu Chi tunnels (Breakfast & guide)

In the morning, depart from Ho Chi Minh city, drive to Cu Chi tunnels, first you can learn more about the mystery of Cu Chi Tunnels by watching a documentary film. You will have a chance to know, see and discover the system of tunnels deep underground, can withstand the destructive power of the bomb attack most of the US military. The air is taken into the tunnel through the vents. It includes 3 ground: from the ground to the first floor is 3m deep, next the second floor is deep 6m and the third floor is deeper than 12m. Tour guide will show how the tunnel works. Visit a command center where visitors can eat meals that the Viet Cong fighters had eaten such as rice, typically steamed tapioca and hot tea. Discover Hoang Cam smoke-less stove, secret hide-outs, fighting bunkers, dangerous booby traps and rice paper workshop. You have chance to try shooting a variety of Vietnam War era weapons such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Drive back to HCM city. Free on your own in Saigon. Overnight in Saigon

Day 10: Saigon departure (Breakfast & guide)

Free on your own until departure time to your sweet home.
