Overview
The list is based on three main criteria: low crime rate, stable political situation, and a safe living environment. According to Best Diplomats, in 2024:
- Vietnam’s peace index stands at 1.745
- The national crime rate at 41.8
- The safety index at 58.2
Leading the list is Singapore, followed by Japan, Bhutan, Malaysia, Qatar, Taiwan, Kuwait, Vietnam, South Korea, and Mongolia.
In addition to ranking 8th among Asia’s safest destinations, Best Diplomats also praised Vietnam for its scenic beauty, diverse culture, and rich culinary heritage.
A Peaceful and Stable Destination
