Cuc Phuong national park is the oldest national park in Ninh Binh, Viet Nam. Trekking through the forest and wildlife will allow visitors to discover the wide diversity of fauna and flora species hosted in this heritage park.

Cuc Phuong National park is located 120 km south of Hanoi and is the oldest national park in Viet Nam. The park is made of more than 200 square km of lush tropical forest. Treks through the primary forest and wildlife observation will allow visitors to discover the wide diversity of fauna and flora species hosted in this heritage park. The entrance fee is 40 000 VND.

The park hosts an Endangered Primate Rescue center which takes care of more than 150 monkeys. Travelers can visit the Rescue Centre by paying an entry fee of 30 000 VND. There is also a Turtle Conservation Centre in the park, which can be visited for free.

The exploration of the park can be done on foot, bicycle, car or motorbike. There are also organized tours available to explore and discover the wonders of the park. Among them, Mac Lake, the Palace cave, gigantic trees and the cave of prehistoric man. Further away, travelers can also visit a Hmong village, one of the 54 ethnic groups in Viet Nam. Accommodation is also available in three different locations in the park, from dorms to private rooms.
