You will be tested on the 3rd day. If the results are negative, you will be required to monitor your own health for the next 11 days, free to move around, but required to avoid large gatherings or crowded places.
The same regulation applies to anyone who was infected with Covid-19 and has certificates to prove that they have recovered from it within the last six months.
You have not been vaccinated or not fully vaccinated yet
In case you have not fully vaccinated or you have not been injected yet, you will be quarantined at home or in other facilities for 7 days.
You will be tested on the 3rd and 7th days. If the results are negative, you will be required to monitor your own health until the end of 14 days;
You are Vietnamese and have not been vaccinated yet
The Health Ministry emphasized that in case the arrivals are Vietnamese citizens and their relatives (including spouses, children) who have not been vaccinated yet or not fully vaccinated, they will be vaccinated (free of charge) during the quarantine period (if eligible).
You are not capable of quarantining by yourself
Those under 18 years old (children), people aged 65 years or older (elderly people), pregnant women, people with underlying medical conditions can be quarantined with a parent/ caretaker. Caregivers must be fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19 and must sign a commitment to voluntarily self-isolate after being explained about the risks of Covid-19 infection.
