Nyaung Shwe is a small town which is a couple of kilometers north of Inle Lake. It is the principle portal to visit Inle Lake since the primary jetty located there. The town might be arrived at by flight to Heho, car and bus from Mandalay. The old Shan town fascinate visitors by its Haw – the castle of Shan chieftain – today transformed to culture museum and Shweyanpyay monastery.
