Prasat Kravan Temple is located in Siem Riep province. Prasat Kravan is a Hindu Temple which was built by a minister Mahendravarman, under the reign of King Harshavarman I crowned from 910 to 923AD. This Hindu Temple was designed as a small brick temple with five towers standing in a row on a single foundation to dedicate Vishnu God. Just like Angkor Thom and the other works, Prasat Kravan also has a moat surrounding.
Although Prasat Kravan is a small temple, it is a must-see destination because it is the only temple in Cambodia which has carvings carved directly into the brick while other brick- temples have carvings on the plaster covered the structure. The most impressive scene is right at the central tower and these interior carvings are very unique in Khmer architecture.
