Being considered by the Royal Caves Association of England as the longest dry cave of Asia, one of the world’s most magnificent caves, Thien Duong Cave is known as an “underground palace”.
Located deep in the heart of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Natural World Heritage, the Cave dates back to the ancient Cretaceous, dating from 350 to 400 million years ago.
Thien Duong Cave is 31.4km in length, with the width ranging from 30 to 100m, the widest place up to 150m; the height from the bottom to the ceiling is about 60-80m. The small Cave’s entrance is just enough for one person to come down each time. Especially in the cave, there are images similar to the cultural symbols of the regions.
To serve visitors, a long wooden stairs system through the center of the Cave was built to further adorned the wild beauty of the cave.
