Enjoy a lovely holiday on Vietnam beaches through a vibrant Hanoi tour, cruise through the emerald water to visit Ha Long Bay, stop over at Danang Beach and visit Hoi An ancient town. Take a boat trip on Thu Bon River and visit Kim Bong and Thanh Ha Handicraft Villages. Visit My Son sanctuary, the Vietnam most important site of the ancient kingdom of Champa and a Unesco World Heritage site.
Itinerary: HANOI – HA LONG – DA NANG – HOI AN
Day 1: Hanoi arrival (Dinner & guide)
Arrive in Ha Noi. The guide and car will pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in. Enjoy a special cyclo tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and old quarter within one hour before dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour (Breakfast & guide)
In the morning, you will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an important place of pilgrimage for Vietnamese, Ho Chi Minh's House-on-Stilts, built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic minorities, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One-Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Continue to visit Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam founded in 1070 boasting 82 stone stelae with the names, places of birth and achievements of men who received doctorates in each triennial examination from 1442. Transfer back to the hotel for free activities in afternoon.
Before dinner, enjoy an interesting water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long (Breakfast, lunch, dinner & guide)
After breakfast, enjoy a 4-hour journey to Ha Long bay – one of new seven nature wonders of the world. Arrive in Ha Long wharf at noon.
Have a lunch on the cruise. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, then relax on deck, kayak or swim in afternoon. Great photo opportunities of shaped islands like Dog island, Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock island and so on. A Cooking demonstration with the chef will be served on the sundeck. After dinner, relax, drinking or fishing at your pleasure before spending a night on board. Overnight on Junk in Ha Long.
Day 4: Ha Long – Hanoi (Breakfast, brunch/lunch & guide)
Start your day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck then enjoy breakfast on cruise. Visiting Sung Sot cave. Check out. Have buffet brunch on board. Return to the wharf at noon. Pick up then transfer back to Ha Noi. On the way back to Hanoi, take a rest-stop to visit the embroidery factory of the disabled with wonderful works. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Da Nang (Breakfast & guide)
Free activities until transferred to the airport for flight to Da Nang. Arrive in Da Nang, the car will drive you to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 6: Hoi An city tour (Breakfast & guide)
Start the half-day tour with easy walking around the charming Hoi An Town, following narrow lanes with lots of ancient houses to admire its architecture influenced by Chinese, Japanese and European styles. The 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Meeting Hall, Tan Ky House. Enjoy shopping time here with a numerous art galleries, handmade souvenir shops and tailor shops. It will not take much of your time getting some nice made-to-measure clothes. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 7: Hoi An - My Son sanctuary (Breakfast & guide)
After breakfast, you are picked up to visit My Son sanctuary, the Vietnam most important site of the ancient kingdom of Champa and a Unesco World Heritage site. My Son is considered to be Champa’s smaller counterpart to the grand cities of Southest Asia’s other Indian influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Malaysia)… Visiting around this ancient kingdom is an opportunity to discover the Archaeology that was built from the 4th to the 10th century. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 8: Hoi An traditional villages (Breakfast & guide)
In the half day, you have chance to take a boat trip on Thu Bon River and visit Kim Bong and Thanh Ha Handicraft Villages. These two villages just locate on the other side of Hoi An River. Arriving Kim Bong Village, you passionately admire the fine craftsmanship practiced such as: mats weaving and coracle boats making and pass through scenic countryside with paddy fields and a bamboo bridge. The techniques of carpenters here are very exceptional. Not far from Kim Bong is Thanh Ha Village where you see clever hands making wonderful bowls, jars, vases, etc. Tile roofs and brick floor of many building in Hoi An are also made from here. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 9: Free activities (Breakfast)
Enjoy a full day to discover the beautiful beach. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 10: Da Nang departure (Breakfast & guide)
Free activities until picked up and transferred to the airport for departure flight. Goodbye Vietnam.
