Continue to visit Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam founded in 1070 boasting 82 stone stelae with the names, places of birth and achievements of men who received doctorates in each triennial examination from 1442. After breakfast, enjoy a 4-hour journey to Ha Long bay – one of new seven nature wonders of the world. Arrive in Ha Long wharf at noon.

Have a lunch on the cruise. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, then relax on deck, kayak or swim in afternoon. Great photo opportunities of shaped islands like Dog island, Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock island and so on. A Cooking demonstration with the chef will be served on the sundeck. The 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Meeting Hall, Tan Ky House. Enjoy shopping time here with a numerous art galleries, handmade souvenir shops and tailor shops. It will not take much of your time getting some nice made-to-measure clothes. Overnight in Da Nang.

After breakfast, you are picked up to visit My Son sanctuary, the Vietnam most important site of the ancient kingdom of Champa and a Unesco World Heritage site. My Son is considered to be Champa’s smaller counterpart to the grand cities of Southest Asia’s other Indian influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Malaysia)… Visiting around this ancient kingdom is an opportunity to discover the Archaeology that was built from the 4th to the 10th century. Overnight in Da Nang.

In the half day, you have chance to take a boat trip on Thu Bon River and visit Kim Bong and Thanh Ha Handicraft Villages. These two villages just locate on the other side of Hoi An River. Arriving Kim Bong Village, you passionately admire the fine craftsmanship practiced such as: mats weaving and coracle boats making and pass through scenic countryside with paddy fields and a bamboo bridge. The techniques of carpenters here are very exceptional. Not far from Kim Bong is Thanh Ha Village where you see clever hands making wonderful bowls, jars, vases, etc. Tile roofs and brick floor of many building in Hoi An are also made from here.
