War Remnants Museum

Located at 28 Vo Van Tan, in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, the War Remnants Museum primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War including materials, pictures, artifacts on the evidence of the crime and the consequences of the war to Vietnam. The museum exists to educate the public, especially the younger generation, of the spiritual struggle for independence and freedom of the country to defend for peace and solidarity friendship between people around the world.

Now it currently holds over 20,000 documents, artifacts and video, in which more than 1,500 documents, artifacts and films have been introduced, in 8 subjects that are exhibited regularly. In 35 years, the museum has welcomed over 15 million visitors nationally and abroad. Currently, with around 500,000 visitors each year, the War Remnants Museum is one of the most highly attracted sites for both local and international visitors.
