On April 12–13, 2025, the 28th Canada International Travel and Vacation Show took place in Ottawa, welcoming tourism boards, travel agencies, airlines, and cultural institutions from across the globe. The event, which marked the start of Canada’s summer travel season, attracted over 200 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 visitors, highlighting a growing global enthusiasm for discovering new destinations.

Among the diverse international participants, Eviva Tour Vietnam was honored to have our travel publications featured at the Vietnam booth. These materials offered Canadian visitors visual, engaging, and informative insights into Vietnam’s vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and unique experiences – from natural wonders like Ha Long Bay to hidden cultural treasures like Ha Giang, Hue, and the Mekong Delta.
Supported by the Embassy of Vietnam in Canada, the Vietnamese booth received special attention from attendees. Ms. Do Ha Thao, Cultural Secretary at the Embassy, shared: “Visitors showed great interest in the Vietnamese booth, asking about tour options and promotional programs. Some had already visited Vietnam and were eager to return.”
This growing curiosity toward Vietnam as a travel destination was echoed by Mr. Chris Wang, Executive Director of Trip Connoisseurs Canada: “Vietnam consistently ranks second among our Asian destinations, after Japan. The country’s tourism sector is booming, and feedback from returning travelers has been overwhelmingly positive.”
He also noted that many Canadians have become repeat visitors, expressing a strong emotional connection with the country and its people.
