Located in the centre of Ba Dinh Square, approximately 3.5km from Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is one of the most significant and iconic historical destinations in Ha Noi, honoring President Ho Chi Minh. Although Ho Chi Minh wanted only a simple cremation, being inspired by Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow, the mausoleum was constructed in order to express gratitude and admiration to their great leader, father, uncle of Viet Nam who lead the nation to independence and reunification.
