During the internship, the talented interns practiced various aspects of Vietnam’s tourism field such as Vietnam travel destinations, crafting tour programs for the Italian market, understanding the behaviors of clients, engaging with Eviva’s partners, conducting surveys at Hanoi hotels, etc. The Eviva team is super delighted to have accompanied and welcomed three interns throughout this period.

We communicated with each other in English while working in the office. Jessica and Sofia, the Italian consultant from Eviva, are the main staff working with Italian interns during the internship. We chatted, worked, and had meals together. The girls have also shared a lot about Italy, their hometowns in Carini, Trapani, and Messina, their travel destinations in Vietnam and Asia, and the delicious Italian restaurants in Hanoi.

Before bidding farewell, we had a memorable day exploring Hanoi with our guide, Hanh. He led the group on a city tour filled with extraordinary experiences.

In this mission, Aurora needed to buy “dau den” (black beans), Alessia needed to buy “bo ket” (honey locust fruit), and Valentina needed to buy “mam tom” (shrimp paste). The girls learned how to say these words in Vietnamese and successfully purchased these items from the vendors for 20,000 VND (0.84 USD) each without any assistance from the Vietnamese members of the team.
