Ke Ga Lighthouse

Ke Ga Lighthouse

About 30 km south of Phan Thiet along the coast is a must-see attraction in Binh Thuan Province called Ke Ga lighthouse. This lighthouse was designed in 1897 by Chnavat – a French architect guided ships to go back and forth. It looks beautiful and like a masterpiece.

Visitors come here can experience an absolutely gorgeous stretch of beach and the brilliantly colorful and elaborate rock formations all along the shore. Being considered as Vietnam’s tallest lighthouse and one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Southeast Asia, Ke Ga Lighthouse has a unique character as the granite stones were carved out of different cells, shapes, sizes that are well-fit and stuck together by mortar. From the height of 60m tall, visitors are able to see a fabulous panoramic view of the open sea, as well as enjoy the chill ocean wind. The most beautiful moment to visit the lighthouse is at sunset. People can see an amazing sight with splendid colors. Sometimes it would be hard to distinguish the boundary of the sky and sea. Furthermore, people can walk to the island when the tide is out just only 500m from the coast.
