Ngoc Vung Island is an unspoilt, romantic getaway in Halong Bay which possesses primitively beautiful landscapes, delicious seafood at cheap price.

The unique transportation to reach this beautiful island is boat from Cai Rong Pier or from Ha Long 0pier with same schedule as boat to Quan Lan Island.

• From Ha Long: the boat’s schedule is once per day at 13:00-13:30 and it takes five hours.
• From Cai Rong: There are two route, one at 06:30-07:00 AM and one at 13:30-14:00. The returning leaves at the same time from Ngoc Vung Island. The journey takes two hours. If you can afford higher budget, speed boat should be considered since it saves traveling time, just 45 minutes only.

After landing on the island, you will travel by mountain bikes (Tuk-tuk) since the local people do not use car or motorbike. Besides, do not hesitate to borrow bikes of the friendly locals to move and discover every single aspect of this beautiful island. Walking along the pristine Truong Chinh beach with nearly 3km stretch white sands and swimming on blue sea is the most attractive added point of the island. Another activity you can try is to visit the coastal villages to understand more about daily work of people here. If you wish to enjoy fresh seafood, you can buy and ask locals to cook for you with a small charge.
