Ream National Park near Sihanoukville

Ream National Park is located about 18 kilometers and 25 minutes driving from downtown Sihanoukville in the East. It may take another 10 kilometer to go through the park down to the beach. Ream Nation Park was established by King Majesty Norodom Sihanouk in 1993 and it is one of seven National Parks in Cambodia. The park contains 15,000 hectares of land and 6,000 hectares of marine habitat. Besides, Ream Nation Park is a living place of more than 155 species of birds, including few species are in threatened. Moreover, the park has landscapes for anyone: mangrove forests, a waterfall with moutainside and a very long beach which have not been marked by footprints.

In 1995, Ream National Park has reached a limited achievement: the guards of the forest have managed to maintain most of the mangroves, wildlife and beaches in natural condition and no new residents are allowed aiming to remain reasonable balance of ecosystem. If you are a person who love and want to enjoy the nature beauty, you should think about a journey to Ream National Park in Cambodia.
